We accept applications for volunteering through the following ways:

For your information, further details about the volunteer activities is listed below:

1.Place of activities

■Morioka Fukkou Shien Center:

3-46 Uchimaru, Morioka, Iwate

Business holiday: Sunday   We are closed during New Year.

■At the Sanriku Coast or inland

*Coastal activities do not take place every day.

Activities will be scheduled in advance.

2.Time of activities:

■Morioka Fukkou Shien Center: 10:00 – 16:00

■Deployments to the coast or other places depend on the circumstances.

3.Clothes:

We recommend you to wear appropriate clothes.

4.Equipment

Gloves and a mask might be useful as well.

5.Lodgment

There are 2 different possibilities for accommodation.

Since there is only limited space available, please register in advance.

  A.Morioka Machiya Lodging

Adress:  3 cho-me, Nataya-cho, Morioka

Facilities: Japanese futons (sheets included), bath toilet.

There is a parking space (5 minutes by foot), supermarket, convenience store,

coin laundry and a bank close by.

We can offer accommodation for 1 to 4 people. The price for one night is 3500 Yen.

If mentioned above room is fully booked,

there is also the possibility to stay in a separate building which is usually used for sightseeing purposes.

The price for one night is 3000 Yen.

 B.Morioka Kita Hotel

Adress:  17-45 Uchimaru, Morioka

The price for one night plus breakfast is 5000 Yen.

The Morioka Reconstruction Aid Centre is only 5 minutes.
